We play a vital role in providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice to the Government of South Australia.

Our people conduct research, analyse information, give advice, contribute to government policy and decision making and support the Treasurer in producing the State Budget. Our people also provide corporate and business services in the areas of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial services so that all South Australian government departments can focus on their core business operations.

Roles available for Graduates

There are multiple pathways that can be explored within the DTF graduate program including:

• Policy, budget, accounting, financial markets, investments and financial management

• Financial accounting

• State taxation and grant administration

• Acquiring goods, services and infrastructure and a variety of strategic projects.

Degree subjects required for Graduates wishing to apply

Every year DTF recruits graduates with the preferred disciplines include accounting, business, commerce (including commercial law), economics, finance, marketing, procurement, social policy, supply chain/logistics and related disciplines.
