    The Office of Digital Government sits within the Department of the Premier

    and Cabinet and leads, supports and coordinates the digital transformation

    of the WA public sector. Digital transformation is fundamental to a modern and

    effective public sector.

     

    The Office of Digital Government works with WA Government agencies to

    support and accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

     

    The Digital Public Sector Graduate Program is a whole-of-Government

    program that provides graduates with the opportunity to rotate across up to

    3 government agencies within 12 months. What is better than one program,

    three-in-one!

     

    Locations where there are vacancies for graduates 

    The Digital Public Sector Graduate Program will give graduates a direct seat on site at various agencies across the Perth Metropolitan area. In 2024, there were 16 participating agencies.

     

    Residency requirements for Graduates wishing to apply

    Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

    Roles available for Graduates 

    The 2024 program had four specialised digital streams: Cyber Security, Data Science, ICT Operations, and ICT Project Management. An additional Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) stream will be added to the 2025 program.

    

    Degree subjects required for Graduates wishing to apply

    Any Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) Bachelor degree completed within the last few years.
